The Ferry to France

My sons (who will shortly be starting Y11) went to France in the spring of Y8.  I have just got round to scrapping one of their photos from this trip - as the title suggests they were on the ferry going to France.  I used the July sketch for the current challenge on Boys Rule.

Papers are a mix of Echo Park and MME - all have been sat in my stash for years - and most were bought as old stock in sales so are extra ancient!

Neither had not been abroad before so they were fascinated by the ferry, the port and all the ships they could see.

They visited lots of interesting places - including Commonwealth War Graves, Pegasus bridge and the D-Day landing sites and, in typical boy style, this was why they had gone on the trip.

The very first thing they told us about though, when they got home, was a warehouse full of feral cats - of which they took loads of photos.  Seems that this was the actual highlight of the week!

They enjoyed every single minute though so it was well worth the cost of sending them.

Thanks for stopping by
