My Review 4 to 4.5 stars

This is a fun, action-packed and fast paced read. It's my first foray into the Immortal Matchmakers world but the author explained enough backstory for me to keep up, without lots of spoilers. I love a good rom-com and have a thing for fantasy/paranormal reads. This is the best combination of the two and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

I loved Forgetty, often called Whatsherface and by the end she has a beautiful name that I won't share here 'cos *spoilers*. She is a wonderfully complex character with a pure heart of gold and a side serving of b**ch. I loved her strength and resilience even in the face of adversity. Tavas was a little harder to get to know, which is deliberate as he is an enigma, wrapped in a puzzle and tied up with a mystery.

Their relationship is complicated but it was so much fun to experience. There is so much else going on in this book too, there is a background story that obviously runs throughout all the books, and several 'loose ends' that I expect will continue to weave into future stories.

I'm definitely hooked on these books now and will both catch up on previous stories and be reading future ones too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.
