This was one superb second chance romance and I loved every word of it.
I was a little disappointed when Ella and Kyle seemed to get over past issues very quickly, but I shouldn't have been. This story progressed in ways I never expected and took me on one emotional journey as they fought their hearts and all the barriers that stood in their way.
Ella and Kyle are both very sweet, caring characters who put others first, although Kyle has a hidden Alpha side and Ella has a naughty streak under that good girl exterior. I really cared about these two characters and believed in the chemistry and love between them.
The writing is of a high standard and the story flowed well, making this a really easy book to read. The emotions were excellently portrayed and I admit I shed a few tears reading this book. The characters had dimension to them and were believable, the plot was not predictable and the pace kept my interest throughout.
Everything about this book is 'Well Built' and if you want an heart warming read, with a good touch of angst and plenty of steam, you won't go wrong with this book.
