My Review

Since 3 stars is considered negative by Amazon I have put 4 stars. For me this was more than an ok to good read, but wasn't an amazing read.

I struggled with the accent or dialect that the book was written in, I also found the dialogue and sentence structure a little off at times.

I did like the main characters in the book and overall the plot was really good. Oliver and Fallyn were very likeable characters and the connection between them was nicely portrayed.

The plot was exciting and moved at a good pace. I did wonder why Oliver was so worried about sharing his story with Fallyn. I thought there must be some great secret to reveal but there wasn't. There was also an odd flash back to a scene from his time in the army that added nothing to the story.

Whilst I easily read this as a stand alone I think reading the first two books would have improved my experience when reading this book.
