Almost the last photos for the scavenger hunt

These are the items I have left to find for the scavenger hunt :-

#6. A metal bridge
#10. A college or university
#16. A panoramic view, taken while standing someplace high in the air
#17. At least two people wearing matching outfits or uniforms
#18. An overloaded truck, car, bicycle or other vehicle
#19. A ticket booth
#21. A photograph of you with a sign reading "2015 Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt"

Alternative A: People eating outside
Alternative B: Someone holding an umbrella
Alternative C: A rocking chair

I have given up on a ticket booth and need to remember to take a photo of the local college next time I go past it.

I do have some of the above to share so without further ado and faff,

#6 A metal bridge

Not the most attractive of bridges - and grabbed as my OH drove us along the M4 in Wales - but it was metal and it is a bridge :)  The view the other way was much nicer but didn't have a bridge in it.  A more pleasing photo is the next one...

#16 A panoramic view ....

I would have loved to get closer to the edge, at the highest spot on our walk.  However given the wind and rain I though it a little unsafe (I didn't want to find out how far down it really was the hard way)

#18. An overloaded truck, car, bicycle or other vehicle

This above photo was also taken on our journey home from Wales. I did see a huge diesel locomotive on the back of a truck, but it was on the M1 whilst I was driving so I was unable to grab a photo of it.

Alternative B: Someone holding an umbrella (replacing #19. A ticket booth)

..me, taken from a most unflattering angle by my DD, whilst sat on Port Eynon beach.  Oh the British seaside!

This of course means that I need to use one more photo of me (eek), the uniform one is taken but not uploaded to the PC yet, the college I will do over the weekend and then I will be done.

Well the cooler weather is making it feel more like autumn now, and have you noticed how the nights are drawing in? (oh I am full of the joys today!)  I am hoping autumn is a little drier than our summer was, so that we can get out for some nice walks in the countryside. I do love the colour of sunlight at this time of year and it really improves my photos :D

I will be back on Monday to wave at Sian and a few other blogging friends (and possibly before that if I find the time)

see you soon

  2. What a fantastic panoramic view..it looks pretty wild indeed. I don't think I would have ventured too close to the edge either
