Oh my (insert swear word) goodness. This was one difficult, emotional, dark and absolutely goddam amazing
read. This book blew me away .... I've just finished reading it (in one long but single sitting) and am in a daze.
Holly and Tyler are both incredibly broken individuals and were written with such brutal honesty it made my heart hurt, but I loved it. Whilst their external scars will never heal can they help repair the internal scars that life has given them?
This isn't your typical romance story, but in its own twisted way it has its beautifully tender moments, its romantic scenes and one of the most wonderful connections I've read between the hero and heroine.
This isn't all about sexual chemistry. It doesn't follow the usual cliches. It takes everything you thought was necessary to make a good romance story, chews them up, spits them out and challenges you to find the right in everything that is wrong, to find the good through all the bad.
And it does it well, it does it MORE than well. It will draw you in, twist you up, tear you apart and yet make you feel wonder and amazement at the same time.
I need more Tyler and Holly, I need more light shining through the darkness. An awe inspiring, soul touching, heart rendering and unforgettable read.
