My Review - 4 Stars
These books are a spin off from the Volkov Bratva series of books. I haven't read the Volkov books and, whilst this might have given me some extra background information and appreciation of 'minor' relationships, it isn't necessary in order to enjoy and understand this set of books.
As I say the books are amazing, and there are some dark subjects and quite graphic scenes in them. The suspense, twists and turns, secrets and lies are complex but the writing is of a high quality and therefore it is easy to 'keep up'.
There are 4 separate books here, all full length so this is one heck of a read. I'd highly recommend choosing it for a holiday or similar as you will NOT want to put the book down. Anything that stops you being able to read this will annoy you!
I particularly loved how strong the heroine of book 3 and 4 is and that SHE is such a force to be reckoned with. Because the story is spread over 2 books it seems a little slow at times, but the depth of emotion, the intrigue and the brilliance of the intricate plot will keep you hooked.
