It felt almost like I inhaled this book I read it so quickly. Once I started reading I just couldn't stop and the only bad thing about any of it was reaching the end!
Izzy is just so smart-mouthed and sassy but in a totally lovable way. I want that girl as my BFF. I loved the mixing of ALFA PI and Men of Inked, and all our favourite characters (which is all of them!) were involved at some point in the book. They didn't feel forced in and the way it was done was amazing. There were also some wonderful new characters, Samara made me laugh. James was his usual tower of hotness, and I adored the respect and love he shows Izzy.
The Gallo children and their spouses are all now well in their 40's and it was good to see that their lives (including love lives) reflected the honesty of this. Books where children in the house seem to have no impact on the adult's love life are not realistic. This book had kids and parents causing problems - loved that touch of reality by Chelle Bliss. There is the main story from the blurb, but also lots of little sub plots intertwined through out. The sister-in-laws reaction to Kat (and then to her boyfriend) was so funny, closely followed by the brother's having no idea what was wrong with their other halves.
This is just one amazing story from start to finish with an absolutely perfect blend of action, suspense, steam and the love between the Gallo family. When's the next Gallo book please?
